| The new units are just great
"You've taken out any difficulty in doing recordings, and actually made it a fun thing to do. The pause button and dual recording modes are a pure joy to use. I like being able to do a message, and then add to it later. I immediately installed my new units in my listings and introduced my self via the Celebrity Impersonations I got from you. I like Kermit the Frog and Robin Leach the best. The home owners think I am, to borrow a phrase, "above the crowd". I also installed one in my home and invite those that stop to take new listings that I put in a brochure box. (MLS print outs). I have picked up a few interesting prospects from this. | No Doubts
I received my first 5 Talking Houses on March 18. I placed one in an existing listing on 3/19, SOLD it on 4/16! I placed one in a new listing on 3/23, SOLD it on 4/19! (The average days on the market in our board is 120 days.) I ordered Talking House with a ‘doubting Thomas’ attitude. That has quickly been replaced with one of excitement and acceptance! | Great House, Not So Great Neighbors
I got a great listing, real nice home, but it was surrounded by other not so nice homes. Another Real Estate Agent had told the homeseller that the most they could get for the house was $72-$74,000 and that just wasn’t enough for them. I told them about Talking House. I made it a Talking House right before Thanksgiving and then took a few days off before the holiday. When I came back there was an offer sitting on my desk for $89,000. It was just 14 days later. | I installed a Talking House in a home in a suburb of Portland the day before I left for a 5 day vacation. When I returned there was an urgent message from my client who owned that home. It was dated 2 days after I made the home ‘talk.’
They said they had to unplug the Transmitter because 9 buyers had knocked on their door wanting to buy their home. The prospects had tried to call me, and when they found I was out of town, they were so anxious they went right up to the door to try to buy the house. Every week someone tells me about a house that sold in 4 days with Talking House, after sitting for 4 months without. So make every listing Talk! | Movie Theater Ads
"I've worked a nice deal with a Mortgage Company and a Title Company. We did up a great video ad, and it is playing 3-6 times before each movie at a local theater. The ad stresses how Talking House will showcase their home, and advertise it 30,000 times each month. The companies split the cost with me, and my phone number is the only one given. It's very effective, and there's real credibility by linking myself with these established firms. By the way, Ch3 in Philadelphia filmed a wonderful story on me, and they're running it 3 times Monday morning. We wanted to thank you for all the press releases you sent out for us. The publicity we have received has been fantastic! In the past 3 months, we have had coverage on over six newspapers, including The Bremerton Sun, Business Journal, Journal American, Eastside Weekly, the Everett Herald and the Seattle Times (who actually turned us down initially, and then featured us at a later date!) We have also be Featured on two TV stations -- KIRO-TV7, and KING-TV5. We even got a spot on a radio station. Transmitter got Me a Sale
I had a prospect moving to my area, whose home back in Arkansas was not selling. It had been on the market for many months, with only 1 showing. It sat on a rural road, and the sign was not getting calls. They needed to sell it to buy a home from me, and were very frustrated. I decided to help this poor soul out! I loaned him a Transmitter, and helped him write a good script. I sent it back to Arkansas with him, with instructions for his agent. He arrived home on Monday, and they set the Transmitter up some time that week. On Friday, a man drove up, and sat out front of their home for 30 minutes, listening to the Talking House. Then he knocked on the door. When they opened the door, he pulled out his check book and said ‘I think I want to buy your home.' And he did! The sellers were absolutely ecstatic! They were bubbling with enthusiasm -- ‘Your Talking House Sold Our Home!!' Here's the best part. Yesterday I made my first listing presentation since that ‘impossible' home sold. When I told this story to the prospects, they were very impressed with me and Talking House. Of course I got the listing. Wouldn't you list with the agent who had that experience to share? | "Oh, the free press we've gotten..."
"When I first ordered Talking Houses a year ago, you were able to get me feature articles in two area newspapers -- the Greensboro News and the High Point Enterprise. That was great. Then two Televisions Stations reported on my Talking Houses. WGHP-TV8 in High Point ran stories on my Talking House on the 5:00 newscast, as well as in the morning news. (The 5 o'clock news anchor even claimed I was the inventor!) In addition, a feature reporter on WFMY-TV2 in Greensboro did a very funny piece entitled "If buildings could talk..." The story began with the reporter driving to a Talking House and listening to my recording over the car radio, and included an interview with me at the sign. It ran at 11:00 just before Letterman, and I received quite a response. This summer, that same great story aired again! Evidently, it is know as an "evergreen" story, and can be aired any time. | Listing Country Estates
I recently made a listing presentation on a home on 12 acres. It's about 5 miles out in the country from a Portland suburb. This beautiful Country Estate is situated about 500 yards up and over a rise from the main road. It's a great home in a park-like setting, but you can't see it from the main road. The sellers had interviewed 5 other real estate agents before I met with them. They decided to list with me, and were clear that they were doing so because of my offer to install a Talking House Broadcasters. It is a perfect situation, because you need to tune in to learn anything about this hidden treasure. I can definitely say I got the $595,000 listing only because of the Talking House. Thanks! I had a home built in 1873, where I opened with a very appropriate tune from My Fair Lady. I also have a beach front property that I open with the sounds of the ocean from a song by a Calipso band. | Six Months ago I became a Real Estate Agent.
Being very unfamiliar with current real estate marketing strategies, I was determined to find something to set myself apart from others. Luckily, I found Talking House. After purchasing 5 Talking House Broadcasters, I quickly got my first listing. It was an expired. The sellers were so impressed with the innovative Talking House, that they still call me the "Innovator" today. Their home sold in just 10 days. Talking House has truly been a "jump starter" for me.
