Open House Message Copy

Here is some suggested copy for a message while you are holding an open house, compiled from lots of samples agents have sent in:

          Thanks so much for stopping by this lovely home. My name is Mary Jones, of Jones Talking House Realty, and as you can see, I'm holding an open house here today from 10:00 AM til 1:00 PM. I sure hope you'll stop in and take a walk around.
          This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath ranch style home is packed with features sure to please. There's great ........(etc.)
          I could go on and on about this home -- but there's no need, because you can stroll through right now. I'd just love for you to see and appreciate this great place. After all, it may be the home of your dreams!
          Again, my name is Mary Jones. As the listing agent, I'm an expert on this home, so if you have any questions while you walk through, please be sure to ask. I also have a data sheet you are welcome to take with you.

          Of course, when this open house is over, I'll be returning this Talking House message to a full description of the property. If you know anyone who might be interested, be sure to tell them to stop by any time and listen.  
          And if you've got a home to sell, I'd love to put your home on the air too, and get it sold fast. People just love to tune in to Talking House . . . after all, YOU did! So when you stop in, remind me to tell you how easy it is to get your home on the air, selling itself 24 hrs a day.

You may want to use a second Broadcaster with your open house message for the 2-3 
hours of the open house. Then just plug in the original machine afterward, so you don't have to re-record your full house message. 
            And I strongly suggest you put up 2-5 Talking House Yard signs and lots of directional signs just for that day, to really grab people!
